The original Bullet Space Pen was conceived in July of 1948. Paul Fisher was soon machining a new pen design shaped from solid aluminum. It became the first Fisher ball point pen, the #400 Bullet Pen, is arguably the most popular pen of the twentieth century. This pen is now all brass with a Translucent Passion Purple finish and a removable clip. When closed, the Bullet Space Pen is the perfect size to carry in your wallet, pocket, purse, car glove box, organizer or toolbox. When open it's a full sized, evenly balanced writing instrument. Great little pen
I needed a pen that can go wherever I do and not fail me when I needed it, like all the rest. This baby is perfect for the job. I use it with my index card GTD system.

Handy-Dandy Great Pen
Writes unusually smoothly, and does all a Fisher Space Pen is supposed to do -- the clip is especially handy (for notebooks, pockets and purse-toting). Wish one could get the clips separately!
This is a well-balanced pen with good weight in the hand. It's not slippery as one might suspect, either, with a very fine enamel-like finish.
Of course, it's also EXTREMELY PURPLE, which IMHO is just GREAT!

Great Pen
My wife likes my Fisher Space Pen, but wanted one in purple.
This was available at a good price (and shipped fast!)
Unfortunately, I had to buy the purple ink cartridge separately.
